Compliant transfer of redundant assets including detailed analysis.
Our computer recycling process starts by securely collecting your redundant IT assets with our in house team. We use GPS Tracked vehicles for enhanced security and seperate data bearing devices on loading., completing Waste Transfer paperwork on before we leave.
As soon as your assets arrive at our warehouse they are assigned a number where our team begin the process of serial auditing all of the equipment and removing asset tags and company information. We remove all Harddisks, SAS drives, SD cards and media devices which are destroyed via granulation or industrial grade wiped with NCSC standards such as Blancco.
We provide all the paperwork and documentation within 14 days of your collection including company certifcations, audits and further papertrails about your commitment to WEEE. Included is a seperate data destruction file which lists every device we destroyed.
What Our Audits include:
With Electrowaste, getting rid of your unwanted or redundant IT is easy. Our team are friendly and fast and we save time and money for companies, offsetting significant recycling costs whilst reducing carbon footprints.
Our Reuse Policy:
As a waste carrier and recycling agent of the Environment Agency, it’s our duty to carry out responsible recycling wherever possible. Part of that process entails that equipment deemed good for parts or usage shouldn’t be disposed of as it risks future landfill pollution if it is’t a single raw material. At Electrowaste, we encourage reuse whenever possible and over the last three years we’ve managed to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of waste electrical equipment, providing components, materials and parts to UK Chartities, Education Trusts and startup companies who can benefit from them.
If you’d like to know more about our recent charitable causes, or you would like to get partner with us, then we’d love to hear from you. Email Hello@electrogroup.co.uk or alternatively call our management team on 0330 113 8989.
